Baby Girl Nursery Design Board: White, Pink, Gold
White and gold are go-to colors in the home design world right now (just take a brief look on Pinterest or Instagram as proof!). Taking this already lovely trend and adding in a soft pink is a perfectly adorable idea for a baby girl’s nursery. The pink boosts the sweetness while the gold brings the glam. It’s an adorable combo for any baby girl, but it’s also simply a great addition to your home.
Here is a little design board to get your creative juices flowing.
1. Focal Point Decal
Having a focal point that brings your whole design concept together is important. Here is a pink and gold wall decal with the precious Shakespeare quote “and though she be but little she is fierce.” What better way can you imagine to tie in the nursery colors by putting a blessing of sweet fierceness above your little one?

2. White Furniture
Keeping with the white and gold trend, most of the elements should be white. Think: crib, changing table, and even wall color possibly. This is a clean and bright color that will really open up the space, especially if it is small. This white crib from Ikea will grow along with your little one, turning into a little bed when she is ready.
Ikea is a great place for affordable and stylish nursery furniture!
3. Soft Pink Bedding
A soft pink sheet set is the perfect choice for this room design. This deco-inspired simple print sheet from Serena and Lily is a great addition to the space or a good starting point for inspiration. Soft pink blankets and stuffed animals are great pink elements too.
Serena & Lily offers delicate pink bedding.
4. Gold Accents
Adding gold accents throughout the nursery enhances the glam factor. You could add baskets, light fixtures, or sparkly gold frames like this one from Wayfair. A golden sunburst mirror would be cute as well.
You can never go wrong with a sparkly gold picture frame!
5. DIY projects
This color scheme has endless DIY project options to both personalize the nursery and keep costs low. The Stella’s World blog added gold paint to a mason jar which held bright pink flowers. This is a cheap, easy, and fabulous little addition to the nursery.
